About the Role:

The Role Mining Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing role-based access structures within Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms. This role focuses on Role Mining, including evaluating existing access patterns, defining optimized roles, and ensuring compliance with organizational security policies. The engineer will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform data analysis, and deliver role models that enhance operational efficiency and security. Experience with Saviynt or similar IAM tools is strongly preferred.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct Role Mining workshops and collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements.
  • Analyze user access data to identify common patterns and design role-based access controls (RBAC).
  • Implement and maintain role structures within IAM platforms such as Saviynt.
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards and security policies during role design and implementation.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on Identity Governance, Access Certification, and Application Onboarding.
  • Develop documentation and best practices for role mining processes.
  • Work with global teams to support offshore delivery and meet project timelines.

What You Bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Role Mining and RBAC implementation within IAM environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Saviynt or similar IGA tools.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills for access pattern analysis.
  • Knowledge of Identity Governance, Access Certification, and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with scripting for automation and data processing (e.g., SQL, Python).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with global teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other IAM platforms (SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD).
  • Exposure to Application Onboarding and Access Reviews.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance standards (SOX, GDPR).
