Lead Caregiver – Infant Room

Are you a dedicated early childhood educator with a passion for the foundational years of a child’s life? Happy Hours Children's Center is seeking a warm, organized, and experienced Lead Caregiver to join our infant room team.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our youngest learners and their families, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every baby can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Care: Design and implement age-appropriate activities that support sensory, motor, and social-emotional development.
- Daily Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that meets all licensing standards.
- Communication: Provide daily updates to parents regarding milestones, feedings, and nap schedules, fostering a strong "home-to-school" connection.
- Mentorship: Lead and collaborate with assistant caregivers to ensure consistent, high-quality care throughout the day.
- Health & Safety: Monitor the health and well-being of each infant, adhering strictly to all safety and sanitization protocols.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working specifically with infants in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
- Education: A CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or a related field) is preferred.
- Certification: Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain it - we offer CPR and First Aid training in June 2026)
- Soft Skills: Infinite patience, a calm demeanor, and a genuine love for helping infants reach their first major milestones.
- Reliability: A consistent and professional presence that families can rely on.
