Lead Infant Instructor

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Instructor to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead the development and implementation of engaging, nurturing, and educational activities tailored specifically for infants. Responsibilities

  • Lead daily classroom activities focused on infant development, including sensory play, motor skills, and early language acquisition
  • Monitor and support individual infant needs, ensuring personalized care that promotes emotional security and physical well-being
  • Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans aligned with childhood development principles and early childhood education standards
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, share observations, and address any concerns effectively
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or caregivers to uphold best practices in childcare and classroom management
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations by conducting regular safety checks and maintaining accurate records

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting, including classroom management and caregiving responsibilities
  • Knowledge of childhood development milestones specific to infants and toddlers
  • Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus
  • Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for young children
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively
  • Ability to create a nurturing environment that fosters growth through play-based learning strategies
  • Prior experience in preschool or daycare environments demonstrating reliability, patience, and enthusiasm for early childhood education
