We are seeking a Lead Teacher in our infant classroom to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children along with a co-teacher. This position would be Monday through Friday 7:30 am. - 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Lead infants in developmentally appropriate activities.
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Present Bible stories from our curriculum
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
Candidates should be comfortable working with children ranging from infants-5 years old, but will be with infants majority of the time. If you love little children and want to help them learn and grow, this is a great job for you. We have great families and a wonderful staff to work with. Hourly pay rate is based on education and experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
- Must be lead qualified according to Wisconsin DCF standards and have infant/toddler certification
- Prefer a Wisconsin Registry Level of 12 or higher.
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Associates Degree or higher strongly preferred
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent required
