We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to infants’ needs, incorporating curriculum development principles and early intervention strategies
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth in infants
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care and education
- Foster positive behavior management techniques that encourage cooperation, independence, and emotional regulation among young children
- Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, including assessments related to childhood development milestones and standardized testing where applicable
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support early literacy education at home
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, child welfare standards, and licensing regulations in all classroom operations
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with infants and toddlers
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies
- Experience developing curriculum for early childhood education programs, such as Montessori or preschool models
- Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention methods for diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, staff, and community partners
- Ability to plan lessons effectively while integrating literacy education, math concepts, physical education activities, and other core subjects
- Prior classroom management experience in daycare or private school environments preferred
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields required; additional training in child welfare or Montessori methods is a plus
