Lead Infant Teacher (Full-Time), Lake Area Discovery Center – Twin Cities Metro Area
Lake Area Discovery Center (LADC) is hiring a Full-Time Lead Infant Teacher to join our high-quality early childhood education / childcare program serving families across the Twin Cities Metro.
This role is ideal for an experienced infant teacher, childcare professional, or early childhood educator who enjoys leading a classroom, collaborating with a strong teaching team, and engaging in ongoing professional growth.

Lead an Infant classroom (ages 6 weeks–~16 months) in a licensed childcare / daycare setting

Provide nurturing, responsive care and support social-emotional development

Collaborate with assistant teachers, aides, and support staff

Participate in a network of lead teachers and early childhood educators

Receive paid daily prep time

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and monthly lesson plans

Support a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment

Engage in ongoing professional development, early childhood training, and leadership development

$50,000 – $55,000 annual salary (12-month position)

9-month (school-year) option available for those not teaching in summer

Salary based on education and early childhood experience

Must meet Minnesota DHS requirements for Lead Teacher

Background in early childhood education, child development, childcare, or daycare

Experience with infants or toddler care preferred

Strong classroom management, communication, and teamwork skills
