We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants
- Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Lead daily activities including sensory play, early literacy exercises, motor skill development, and social interactions
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support individual needs such as special education or early intervention programs
- Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and behavior management with patience and professionalism
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and student interns to ensure high-quality care and educational standards
- Maintain detailed documentation of developmental milestones, lesson plans, and classroom observations in compliance with licensing standards
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while promoting child welfare at all times
Experience
- Proven classroom experience working with infants in early childhood education settings or daycare environments
- Strong background in curriculum development tailored for early learners with an emphasis on literacy education and physical development
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies
- Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies such as preschool or toddler care approaches
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, staff, and community partners
- Prior experience in private school settings or daycare centers is preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that incorporate standardized testing preparation when appropriate for age group
