Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development and learning through engaging activities. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
• Engage children in hands-on activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that supports learning.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.

Experience

• Previous experience in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices is essential.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Skills in caregiving, babysitting, or nannying are beneficial for this role.
• Strong classroom management abilities to maintain an orderly learning environment.
• First aid certification is advantageous but not required at the time of application.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
