LEAD INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER – GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN
Employment Type: Full-Time (40+ hours/week)
Start: Summer hire (must be available year-round)

We are a well-established daycare located in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. This role focuses on children ages 12–24 months.

We are looking for someone who is nurturing, patient, energetic, and passionate about early childhood education, with strong communication skills to engage effectively with both children and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with co-teachers and staff
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities aligned with curriculum themes
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain an engaging learning environment
• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children
• Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
• Perform daily care routines including feeding and diapering
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education OR currently enrolled in a program leading to an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• (Must have at least 9 credits in Early Childhood Education)
• Proof of current enrollment in an accredited program
• Prior experience working with children ages 12–24 months in a daycare or school setting (required)
• Must be reliable and available 5 days per week (full-time)
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Warm, creative, and nurturing personality
• DOI fingerprints (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Willingness to complete all required background checks and clearance procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
