1. Core Responsibilities

• Lead risk and risk event reviews across Data, IT, Cybersecurity, and Cloud domains, ensuring timely identification and remediation of key issues.
• Own the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process—plan and drive execution, establish review standards, validate evidence, and ensure high-quality documentation and reporting.
• Review IT, Cybersecurity, and Data reports (e.g., Penetration Testing, UAT, System Testing, Data Quality, Migration, Reconciliation, and Quality Review), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and actionable insights.
• Lead independent testing and assurance reviews, including control testing across Data, IT, Cybersecurity, and Cloud domains, as well as regulatory-driven assessments (e.g., SWIFT attestation).
• Monitor emerging risks and trends, perform deep-dive analyses, and present risk intelligence to senior stakeholders with strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Business, IT, Cybersecurity, and Cloud—to drive alignment, accountability, and timely resolution of risk/control gaps.
• Develop and deliver governance dashboards, executive-level presentations, and stakeholder training to ensure clear visibility of risk posture and control maturity.

2. Experience Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in GRC, IT Audit, Technology Risk, or Cloud Audit.
• 5–10 years of prior experience or familiarity with GRC tools such as Riskonnect, RSA Archer, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and the Microsoft 365 suite.
• 5–10 years of experience in a Data, IT, or Cyber Risk-related role within a retail consumer finance business is desirable.

3. Knowledge Requirements

• Knowledge of risk management within the banking / financial services sector.

4. Skill and Competency Requirements

• Attention to detail and ability to learn and adapt quickly is essential.
• High level skills in respect of verbal & written communication are essential.
• High level skills in respect of the ability to self-manage are essential.

5. Required Qualifications/Certifications

• A university degree is essential.

6. Responsibilities re Information Security Management System (as per ISO 27001 Certification Requirements)

• Ensure strict adherence to company’s security policies and procedures (for ex: Password policy, clear screen and clear desk policy, etc.)
• Take ownership of all the assets/information assigned and secure it in compliance with ISO 27001 standard implemented in the company.
• Co-operate and co-ordinate for the internal audits conducted in the company (complying to ISO 27001 standard).
• Report to the Incident Response Manager, any incidents you come across in the office with regard to Security threats like threats to physical asset & stored information or any risks detrimental to the Security Policies of the company, etc.
• Responsible to supervise in ensuring that all personnel reporting to you shall observe all Security requirements and be appropriately trained in Security.
