Lead Journeyman Electrician – Commercial Service (Residential Required)

WCI Electric is a commercial service–driven electrical contractor in Santa Clara. We’re hiring a Lead Journeyman Electrician to run commercial service work and light tenant improvements — and you must be comfortable performing residential service work as part of this role.

This is a lead position with real authority in the field, not a helper role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Run commercial service calls and light TI work independently
• Perform residential service work when required
• Service troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades
• Panels, transformers, circuits, and lighting
• Communicate directly with customers and inspectors
• Direct helpers/apprentices when assigned
• Represent the company professionally in the field

Work is primarily in Santa Clara County / South Bay (local routes).

Pay – Tied to Responsibility

• $45–$65+ per hour DOE
• Pay increases with leadership and ownership

Tiered structure:

• Lead Journeyman: $45–$50/hr
• Senior Lead Journeyman: $50–$58/hr
• Field Lead / Right-Hand: $58–$65+/hr

The more responsibility you take off the owner’s plate, the more you earn.
