Lead Landscaper

Job Summary
4/10 shift and must have a valid driver license. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Landscaper and light maintenance person to spearhead our landscaping projects and maintenance operations. In this role, you will oversee the design, installation, and upkeep of outdoor spaces, ensuring they are vibrant, healthy, and visually stunning. As a leader on our team, you will coordinate daily activities, mentor crew members, and uphold the highest standards of horticultural excellence. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to ensure efficient completion of projects and maintenance tasks
• Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, pruning, planting, and irrigation system management
• Lead landscaping construction projects from planning through execution, ensuring quality standards are met
• Provide expert guidance on tree care, gardening practices, and horticulture techniques to team members
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment used in landscaping and construction tasks
• Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues on-site, and implement solutions promptly
• Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all team members

Skills

• Extensive experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping design, and construction processes
• Proven supervising experience with strong leadership capabilities
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques, irrigation systems, tree care, and gardening best practices
• Familiarity with horticulture principles to promote healthy plant growth
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for team coordination and client interactions
• Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance procedures

Pay: $25.74 - $33.00 per hour
