Overview
The Carlton Hotel is hiring a Lead Line Cook for Mabel Lounge, our new cocktail bar and kitchen.

This role is ideal for a dependable, organized cook who enjoys working independently and takes pride in executing simple food with consistency and attention to detail.

The kitchen is designed for efficient service with a focused menu, and we’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the line and maintain high standards during service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to established recipes
• Execute service efficiently and maintain consistent plating
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Assist with basic prep and product organization
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years experience on the line in a professional kitchen
• Strong ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
• Comfortable working independently and executing dishes on multiple stations Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Calm and organized during service

Schedule

Evening shifts
6-8 hour shifts
4-5 shifts per week
Weekend availability required
