Summary

Off Hours Beer Co. is seeking a creative and versatile Lead Line Cook to join our team. This role will be a hands-on authority in the kitchen, responsible for supervising food preparation, ensuring quality and consistency, and directing the culinary team during service.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and/or produce a variety of high-quality dishes as per guest orders, while following approved recipes & specifications in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Manage the close of the kitchen at the end of the night.
  • Perform work on different kitchen line stations as per business demands.
  • Properly use the KDS system to manage cook times, while preparing and multitasking several dishes at a time.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of recipes, ingredients, allergens, and food presentation.
  • Maintain department cleanliness and organization, adhere to safe work and equipment practices, and follow all food safety, health, and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
  • Set up, stock stations, and replenish kitchen inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Follow departmental checklists and standard operating procedures to ensure work areas are prepared for opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Assist with ordering all food and other supplies, monthly inventory, and maintaining par levels.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • 1+ years of management experience
  • 5+ years of food service experience
  • Experienced in high volume food production and sales
  • Exemplary communication and leadership skills.
  • Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property, including stairs.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Able to work late nights, holidays, weekends and long days as necessary

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
