Lead Line Cook

We’re looking for a passionate and dependable Lead Line Cook who thrives under pressure, leads by example, and takes pride in crafting exceptional food every shift.

As a Lead Line Cook, you’ll play a key role in daily kitchen operations, helping drive execution during high-volume service while maintaining the elevated standards that define Patty & Press. From perfectly smashed burgers and house-made sauces to prep organization and team leadership, you’ll help ensure every guest receives an unforgettable experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily kitchen operations during prep and service
• Prepare and execute Patty & Press menu items with consistency, speed, and attention to detail
• Train, motivate, and support line cooks and prep staff to maintain a strong team-oriented kitchen culture
• Ensure all food is prepared according to Patty & Press recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen
• Assist with inventory management, prep lists, ordering organization, and waste reduction
• Monitor ticket times and kitchen flow to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy hours
• Collaborate with management and the culinary team on menu improvements, specials, and operational efficiency
• Uphold professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude in a high-energy environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment required; leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of grill work, food preparation, kitchen systems, and service execution
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to keep a team focused under pressure
• Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and kitchen organization
• Strong knife skills and ability to multitask efficiently during peak service
• Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and delivering high-quality food consistently
• Dependable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining Patty & Press standards every shift
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
