Lead & Manage Our Corporate Wellness Division

Lead & Manage Our Corporate Wellness Division

Part-Time (Approx. 20 Hours/Week)

Temporary Role with Temp-to-Hire Potential After July 30, 2026

A Leadership Role Rooted in Organization, Ownership & Follow-Through

A Better Body, Madison’s trusted, woman-owned massage studio, is hiring a Chair Massage Operations Coordinator to manage and grow our corporate chair massage division.

This is a high-autonomy, high-accountability position.

It is primarily an operations and coordination role with relationship-based sales opportunities built in.

If you are highly organized, steady under pressure, confident in professional conversations, and enjoy owning a process from start to finish — this could be an excellent fit.

What This Role Actually Feels Like Week-to-Week

This position is approximately:

  • 60–70% coordination and operations
  • 20–30% client communication and account management
  • 10% new sales conversations

Most of your time will be spent:

  • Organizing therapist schedules
  • Confirming gig details
  • Problem-solving last-minute changes
  • Managing invoices and documentation
  • Maintaining strong recurring client relationships

Sales calls & opportunities exist, but this is not a high-volume cold-calling or commission-heavy sales role.

This role is ideal for someone who values stable pay first and enjoys being rewarded for maintaining and gradually growing existing accounts over time.

Hours & Flexibility

Part-Time – Approximately 20 Hours Per Week

  • Mostly remote
  • Flexible scheduling within reason
  • 1-2 in-office meeting days (to start)
  • Some set meeting times
  • Sales call availability during weekday business hours

Responsiveness Requirement

This role requires general weekday availability (8am–5pm) to respond to therapist or client needs.

Most days are calm and predictable. Occasionally, you will need to step in quickly if:

  • A therapist has an emergency
  • A last-minute change occurs
  • A client needs immediate clarification

If something shifts, you handle it calmly and efficiently.

Compensation SummaryBase Salary

$22,500 annually (Stable pay for approximately 20 hours/week of coordination, communication, and operational management)Paid biweekly

5% Ongoing Revenue Commission

You earn 5% commission on all chair massage revenue — including existing recurring accounts.

At current annual revenue (~$128,000), this equals approximately:

~$6,400 additional annual commission

10% Quarterly Growth Bonus

You are eligible for a 10% bonus on revenue that exceeds quarterly goals by $5,000 or more.

Bonuses are calculated after payments are received and added to payroll.

Expected Total Compensation at Current Revenue:

Approximately $28,900/year

Growth beyond this depends on division expansion.

This position is designed as a stable, part-time leadership role with moderate performance-based upside — not a high-risk, high-commission sales role.

What You’ll Own

1. Operations & Execution (Primary Focus)

  • Coordinate therapist scheduling
  • Organize availability requests and build schedules
  • Delegate administrative tasks to our Virtual Assistant and double-check accuracy
  • Manage last-minute adjustments
  • Invoice completed gigs weekly
  • Run cancellation and refund reports
  • Ensure contracts, documentation, and billing are accurate

If something falls apart — you solve it.

2. Client Experience & Retention

  • Oversee recurring corporate accounts
  • Ensure gigs run smoothly
  • Proactively identify experience improvements
  • Deliver thoughtful touches that build long-term loyalty
  • Lead quarterly client check-ins
  • Maintain and strengthen existing relationships

3. Revenue Growth

  • Conduct sales calls (weekday availability required)
  • Convert inquiries into booked gigs
  • Re-engage past clients
  • Manage referral outreach
  • Track metrics and report performance
  • Move opportunities from inquiry → booking → follow-up → repeat business

Growth is important — but maintaining excellence comes first.

Who Thrives in This Role

This position is ideal for someone who:

  • Is extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Takes ownership instead of waiting for direction
  • Is confident in professional conversations
  • Enjoys measurable goals and accountability
  • Can delegate and double-check
  • Remains calm under pressure
  • Notices small errors before they become big ones
  • Finds satisfaction in keeping systems running smoothly

You might be a strong fit if you’ve:

  • Managed accounts or client relationships
  • Coordinated logistics or operations
  • Owned a revenue or performance goal
  • Improved systems or processes independently

You are not a “maybe” person. You are an “I’ve got it handled” person.

This Role Is Not a Fit If:

  • You are primarily motivated by large commission upside
  • You prefer creative or loosely structured work over systems and follow-through
  • Detailed administrative tasks drain you
  • You prefer clear task lists rather than full ownership responsibility
  • You are uncomfortable being the point person when issues arise
