Lead Material Support Technician (Day Shift)*

SierTeK Ltd. is seeking (4) Lead Material Support Technicians to support an opportunity at Hill AFB (Day Shift).

POSITION OVERVIEW SECTION

The Lead Material Support position provides daily oversight and coordination of contract production support personnel responsible for logistics, inventory control, and asset management in support of aircraft maintenance operations. In the absence of the Site Supervisor, the Lead Material Support representative assigns workloads, monitors task completion, and serves as the primary liaison with Government supervision and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign and manage workloads for contract personnel to ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
  • Receive work requirements and delegate assignments based on employee skills, certifications, and training qualifications.
  • Provide oversight to ensure contract production support employees meet operational and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor workforce availability and ensure personnel are properly trained or certified for assigned duties.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with Government supervisors and management when the Site Supervisor is unavailable.
  • Support the Site Supervisor by coordinating personnel activities and addressing operational requirements.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of accidents, incidents, and workplace safety concerns.
  • Attend required meetings and provide updates regarding workforce activities and task status.
  • Maintain accountability and oversight of government assets and related documentation.
  • Remain cross-trained in multiple support roles to provide coverage and operational continuity as needed.

Minimum Position Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum Interim Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role involving inventory control, asset management, logistics, or aircraft maintenance support preferred.
  • Ability to maintain detailed records and strict accountability of government assets.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with maintenance personnel, supervisors, and government representatives.
