STARTING SALARY : $89,500 - $124,942 Salary is commensurate with experience.

JOB SUMMARY PURPOSE

Under general supervision, the Lead- Materials Planning and Supply Strategy is responsible for designing and executing strategies that optimize material availability, inventory management, and supply continuity. This role drives working capital improvements, supports future growth initiatives, and ensures alignment between Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Operations.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Management or Business; or an equivalent combination of related education, training and experience.

EXPERIENCE

7 years of experience in materials planning, supply chain strategy, or related roles.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and inventory optimization techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle Fusion, Maximo) and advanced planning tools.

  • Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, forecasting techniques, and procurement best practices.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects

  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with executives, managers, employees, external partners, and stakeholders.

  • Maintains a high level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Design and implement inventory management principles to improve working capital improvements and establish inventory audit integrity and align reconciliation processes with accounting and SCM cycle count rigor.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of existing warehouse capacity, laydown yards, and material handling facilities to identify constraints and opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate current warehouse capacity and material handling facilities, forecast future needs, and develop optimization strategies.
  • Prepare feasibility studies for upgrades, expansions, and new facilities considering location, logistics, safety, and scalability.
  • Build financial models and cost-benefit analyses to support growth initiatives.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment, assess risks, and develop phased implementation plans with timelines and resource requirements.
  • Drive alignment with Operations on SCM material planning activities, analyze kitting and job support strategies, and leverage contracted logistics and supplier resources to reduce costs and improve service levels.
  • Maximize utilization of Maximo and Oracle Fusion functionality, including MRP planning capabilities, and develop knowledge-sharing tools for organization-wide adoption.
  • Develop and enforce a materials supply planning framework with daily rigor and maintain a SKU taxonomy aligned with industry norms and EPE inventory structure.
  • Monitor key metrics such as inventory turns, forecast accuracy, and material availability, and provide actionable insights to leadership for continuous improvement.
