Lead Mechanical Engineer role as a senior engineering position focused on designing and optimizing CO₂ mineralization and injection facilities in Oman.

Main responsibilities

The job includes:

• Designing and analyzing mechanical systems:
• pressure vessels
• pumps
• compressors
• heaters/vaporizers
• CO₂ and water injection systems
• Leading mechanical engineering work for CO₂ injection facilities
• Working with EPC contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants
• Reviewing technical documents:
• datasheets
• specifications
• RFQs
• bill of quantities
• Participating in HAZOP, HAZID, constructability, and design review workshops
• Supporting prototype and MVP development with the R&D team
• Optimizing energy efficiency and reducing carbon footprint
• Supervising junior engineers and contractor work
• Ensuring compliance with ASME/API engineering standards and HSE procedures .
