Location: Cedarhurst, NY
Salary: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

A busy pediatric practice in Cedarhurst is seeking an experienced Lead Medical Assistant / Lab Manager to join its clinical team. This role is ideal for a highly organized and dependable professional who can help oversee daily clinical operations while supporting providers and ensuring an efficient patient experience.

The ideal candidate will have several years of Medical Assistant experience , strong leadership abilities, and experience managing laboratory workflows . Spanish fluency is required to effectively communicate with the patient population.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Flexible scheduling within these hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow of the Medical Assistant and lab operations
• Perform patient intake , including vitals, medical history, and documentation
• Assist pediatric providers during patient visits and procedures
• Manage in‑office laboratory processes and ensure accurate specimen handling
• Maintain organization and readiness of exam rooms and clinical supplies
• Enter and maintain accurate patient records in eClinicalWorks (ECW)
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Help maintain a professional, efficient, and patient‑focused environment

Requirements

• Several years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Fluent in Spanish (required)
• Experience working with eClinicalWorks (ECW)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced pediatric environment
