Lead Memory Care Med Tech/Caregiver:

Peters Creek Retirement is seeking a full-time Lead Memory Care Med Tech/Caregiver. Grow your skills with our team of compassionate individuals who love what they do and who they serve!

Successful candidates will hold a current CNA or HCA certification in the State of Washington and have experience working in a Memory Care unit.

Responsibilities:

• The Lead Memory Care Med Tech/Caregiver assists the Resident Services Director in the management and leadership of the care staff by maintaining a superior level of customer service and care to residents.
• The Lead Med Tech/Caregiver assists residents to self-administer their medications, assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Provides activities of daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) services to residents in accordance with the Individual Service Plan (ISP).
• Supervise or assist residents with personal care services, activities of daily living (ADL’s) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL’s) as identified in the ISP and assigned by the Nurse and in compliance with the state statutes.

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (NAC/CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) Certification required; Registered Nursing Assistant (NAR) acceptable with proof of graduation from approved school, a copy of NAR, and on condition that CNA is earned within 120 days of hire or as state testing becomes available.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successful candidate would have 1 year experience as a Med Tech/Caregiver and have a desire to work with residents who have dementia.
• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required.
