Lead Montessori Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Montessori Teacher who is certified to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Duties

  • Develop and implement innovative Montessori-based curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of children in your classroom.
  • Lead daily classroom activities that promote active learning, exploration, and independence among students.
  • Observe and assess each child's progress regularly, documenting milestones and adjusting instruction accordingly.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that emphasizes behavior management, social skills, and emotional well-being.
  • Mentor and support assistant teachers and classroom aides to ensure high-quality educational experiences.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about their child's growth and achievements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom that adheres to health and safety standards while encouraging child welfare and daycare best practices.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of Montessori pedagogy and curriculum development principles.
  • Proven experience working with children across early childhood education settings, including preschool and toddler care.
  • Strong background in special education techniques and early intervention strategies.
  • Expertise in literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and classroom management techniques.
  • Ability to design engaging lesson plans that incorporate standardized testing preparation when appropriate.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage behavior constructively while fostering a nurturing environment.
  • Experience with childcare regulations, private school standards, and daycare operations.
  • Familiarity with childhood development milestones and early childhood education best practices.
  • Commitment to child welfare through attentive supervision, safety protocols, and inclusive teaching practices.
