Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Montessori Teacher for 2-3.5 year old class. You are to inspire young minds and foster a nurturing, engaging learning environment rooted in the Montessori philosophy. As a leader in early childhood education, you will oversee classroom activities, develop innovative curricula, and support the holistic development of children.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they align with Montessori principles and support individual learning styles.
  • Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies.
  • Mentor and supervise assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high-quality educational standards.
  • Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on student progress and developmental milestones.
  • Oversee classroom organization, including lesson planning, materials preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean environment conducive to learning.
  • Support children’s social welfare by addressing their emotional needs, promoting inclusivity, and ensuring adherence to child welfare standards.

Requirements

  • Love to work with children, self-motivated, reliable, team player
  • Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
  • Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods and AMS or AMI certification is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Prefer bilingual English and Chinese
  • Christian is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
