About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead O&M Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of major wastewater and sewerage infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with sewerage tunnels, pipelines, pumping stations, treatment processes, and odour control units, and will provide technical leadership across ongoing O&M activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operation and maintenance of sewerage tunnels, pipelines, pumping stations, and wastewater treatment processes.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of odour control units and associated ventilation/mechanical systems.
• Develop and implement O&M strategies, procedures, and performance improvement plans.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and reliable asset performance.
• Conduct inspections, root-cause analyses, maintenance planning, and asset condition assessments.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of mechanical and process systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of sewerage tunnels, pipelines, pumping stations, wastewater processes, and odour control units.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional qualification (MICE or equivalent).

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage teams and coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Strong communication and technical reporting abilities.

Pay: AED30,000.00 - AED45,000.00 per month
