Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a classroom of children, providing a safe and nurturing environment
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide individualized attention and support to children with special needs or learning challenges
- Foster a love for learning through engaging and interactive teaching methods
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Understanding of child welfare regulations and compliance standards

Skills:
- Tutoring: Ability to provide one-on-one support to students who need additional assistance.
- Literacy education: Knowledge of strategies for teaching reading, writing, and language skills.
- Experience with children: Previous experience working with children in a professional setting.
- Physical education: Ability to incorporate physical activities into lesson plans to promote health and wellness.
- Special education: Familiarity with techniques for supporting students with special needs or learning challenges.
- Childcare: Understanding of the unique needs of young children in a childcare setting.
- Lesson planning: Skill in creating engaging lesson plans that align with educational objectives.
- Child welfare: Knowledge of child protection laws and regulations.
- Toddler care: Ability to meet the specific needs of toddlers in a classroom setting.
