Lead Operator

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Operator to oversee and coordinate operations within our team. The Lead Operator will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in daily operations, while also leading and mentoring team members to achieve performance goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

- Lead, train, and mentor junior operators to enhance their skills and performance.

- Monitor equipment and systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.

- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting on machinery and processes to minimize downtime.

- Collaborate with management to implement policies, procedures, and best practices to improve operational efficiency.

- Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment performance, and employee activities.

- Assist in the planning and execution of maintenance schedules and downtime activities.

- Promote a culture of safety, communication, and teamwork among all team members.

- Address and resolve any operational issues that may arise, escalating to management when necessary.

- Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.

- Proven experience in an operational role within [specific industry, e.g., manufacturing, logistics].

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
