Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise painting crews on various construction, renovation, and restoration projects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to achieve smooth finishes.
• Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools and power tools such as airless sprayers, brushes, rollers, and other equipment.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project scope and specific requirements.
• Perform detailed work including trim carpentry, drywall finishing, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation as needed.
• Manage project timelines by estimating materials needed through construction estimating skills and coordinating with other trades.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting or industrial coating projects with a strong portfolio of completed work.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools including airless paint sprayers, welding equipment, concrete finishing tools, and masonry tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise application of finishes.
• Knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects consistently.
• Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures.
• Strong understanding of related trades such as carpentry (trim framing), plastering, caulking, restoration work, drywall finishing, masonry, and fixture installation.
• Basic math skills for measurements and estimating project quantities efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively.
• Valid experience in construction site environments with hands-on knowledge of renovation processes.
