Lead Painter – Residential (Run Jobs, No Babysitting)

What this role actually is

We’re looking for a lead painter who can run jobs without being babysat.

If you need constant direction, this isn’t for you.

If you know how to:

• show up
• run a crew
• get clean, high-quality work done

you’ll do well here.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Running residential painting jobs start to finish
• Leading 1–3 painters
• Making sure the work is clean, consistent, and done right
• Keeping jobs moving and on schedule
• Handling basic communication with homeowners
• Keeping job sites clean and professional

• Clean lines
• Proper prep
• No shortcuts
• Showing up when you say you will

That’s it. If you do those things, you’ll be valued.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years residential painting experience
• You’ve actually led jobs or crews before
• You don’t need someone checking on you every 2 hours
• You take pride in your work (not just getting it done fast)
• You can keep a crew moving without drama

Who this is NOT for

• You’re still learning how to paint
• You’ve never run a job
• You’re inconsistent or unreliable
• You cut corners and hope no one notices

Pay & work

• $22–$30/hr depending on experience
• Steady, consistent work
• Opportunity to grow if you prove yourself
