Lead Patient Coordinator

We are seeking a Lead Patient Coordinator for our highly rated dental office with a friendly and dynamic work environment and opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, personable, adaptable, Self sufficient and willing to continuously learn. Spanish proficiency is a plus but not mandatory. Relevant experience is an advantage. This role is a transition role into an Office Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for patient inquiries and manage phone calls efficiently
• Collaborate with the clinical team to review and approve treatment plans
• Optimize productivity by efficiently scheduling appointments for both doctors and hygienists
• Ensure all patients have a confirmed doctor and hygiene appointment prior to closing out
• Verify accuracy of insurance estimates and submitted claims
• Interact with patients in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone
• Schedule and confirm appointments, educate patients on treatment plans and financial responsibilities
• Manage patient records, including data entry and billing procedures, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy
• Greet patients, provide a welcoming office experience and assist with any inquiries
• Collect payment and manage patient account information
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent minimum
• Experience with customer service or sales
• Must be able to multitask
