Lead Pharmacy Clinical Systems Analyst

Hours Per Week: 40 hour/week
Hiring range: $ 116,916.80 - $150,654.40
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
  • System Management: Oversees the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Meditech Expanse for pharmacy operations.
  • Collaboration: Works closely with IT, clinical staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Training and Support: Provides training and support to pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals on the use of Meditech Expanse.
  • Data Analysis: Analyzes pharmacy data to identify areas for improvement and implements solutions to enhance medication safety and efficiency.
  • Documentation: Creates and maintains documentation, including user manuals and system specifications, for pharmacy informatics systems.
  • Quality Improvement: Participates in quality improvement initiatives to optimize pharmacy workflows and patient outcomes.
  • Technical Support: Provides technical support and troubleshoots issues related to Meditech Expanse and other pharmacy informatics systems.

Education, Training & Experience: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year combined experience in clinical pharmacy and informatics required. EHR systems experience preferred

Licensure: Pharmacist credentialed from the New York Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire or transfer date.
