Lead Phlebotomy Medical Assistant or LPN

Serve your community with a job in Public Health! Our mission is to improve the health of all Dent County residents. To further that mission, the Dent County Health Center is seeking an experienced and caring medical assistant or LPN to work in our clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Phlebotomy
  • Empathy and concern for all patients
  • Rooming patients
  • Basic patient interviewing, blood pressures, etc
  • Injections
  • Entering information into the electronic health record
  • Calling results to patients
  • Scheduling follow up visits
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements or Qualifications

  • LPN or Certified MA are preferred.
  • Medical Assisting Experience is preferred
  • Proficiency with EHR and computer systems
  • Basic life support certification
  • Strong patient service skills and knowledge of physiology
  • Phlebotomy Experience is required
  • Ability to perform vital signs and patient intake procedures
  • Must be dedicated, reliable, hardworking.

Other Requirements

  • Must pass pre-employment screening, including but not limited to background check and urine drug screening.
  • Must be able to comply with tobacco and drug free policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
