DBK is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Plumber to join our fast-growing Tampa Service Division. As a key leader within our plumbing team, you will oversee daily field operations, support technicians, ensure exceptional service delivery, and uphold DBK’s commitment to providing a Higher Standard to our clients across multifamily, residential, and commercial properties.

⭐ Position Summary

The Lead Plumber is responsible for supervising plumbing service operations, performing advanced diagnostics and repairs, supporting junior and senior technicians, and ensuring quality, safety, and communication across all service jobs. This role works closely with the Plumbing Director, HVAC Lead, Electrical Lead, and Service Directors to maintain operational excellence and efficiency across the Tampa branch.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Support

• Serve as the on-site field leader for the plumbing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and troubleshooting support to all plumbing technicians.
• Assist in onboarding, training, and development of new plumbing techs to ensure alignment with DBK’s Higher Standard.
• Communicate daily with Service Coordinators and Directors regarding schedules, updates, job status, and any issues requiring support.
• Uphold safety standards, job site professionalism, and DBK values at all times.

Technical Expertise

• Perform complex diagnostics, repairs, and installations for multifamily, residential, and commercial clients.
• Handle emergency service calls, major leaks, clogs, sewer issues, water heater installs, re-pipes, and other advanced plumbing services.
• Ensure accurate documentation in ServiceTitan, including job notes, photos, estimates, time tracking, and parts used.
• Verify work quality and provide field checks to ensure technicians meet DBK expectations.

Operational Support

• Oversee truck stock, inventory usage, and tool/equipment needs for the plumbing department.
• Partner with the warehouse team to maintain required material levels and ensure readiness for next-day jobs.
• Assist with quotes, estimates, and recommendations for repair vs. replacement.
• Support Tampa branch goals including efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
