Job Title: GSRP Lead Teacher
Location: Canton, MI

We are currently seeking a Lead GSRP Teacher to join our team and help foster a nurturing and educational experience for our little learners. If you have at least 2 years of experience teaching as a lead teacher in a similar age group and the qualifications needed please apply. Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for children and staff
• Follow all State of Michigan policies and regulations
• Be familiar with and execute emergency procedures as needed
• Implement a variety of activities and experiences that align with the curriculum
• Support children’s emotional and social development while building their self-esteem
• Utilize positive redirection techniques to guide behavior
• Establish a diverse and inclusive classroom that fosters equality for all children, regardless of gender, race, or developmental needs

Qualifications:

Must have

• Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or Childhood Development or Elementary education with endorsement or in the process of obtaining one.
• Experience in the GSRP program a strong plus
• Strong classroom and curriculum organization skills
• Experience working with children in a daycare or school setting is required

Compensation:

• Pay based on experience and qualifications
