Lead Pre-K Teacher

Our school is looking for a full time Lead Pre-K teacher to join the team.

Anchor Point Early Learning Academy is a private preschool servicing children 6 weeks to 5 years old in the Southern Rhode Island area. We are currently searching for a fun, loving, motivated and caring individual who is passionate about teaching young children. We value the relationships between our employees and families. Our school strives to meet each child where they are and create an environment where children and families loved to come and learn each day. We strive to create a Pre-k program that allows children to learn through experiences, play and prepares them for kindergarten.

Responsibilities for a lead teacher include creating and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, developing relationships with children and families, and working together with other staff members. Anchor Point is a new center based school with lots of new opportunities to grow in your career while creating a positive work environment and a caring place for children and families to come and learn.

Requirements for the job:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Associates degree or higher (Bachelor's preferred)
• CPR / 1st Aid certification or be willing to get it within the first 30 days
• A love for teaching tiny friends
• Hard worker with a positive attitude and drive to learn more
• Experience working in a early childhood setting
