Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Plymouth Preschool is seeking an experienced, nurturing and inspiring Lead Teacher for our prekindergarten class who has passion of education and proven experience in an early childhood institution. A beloved fixture in the preschool community, Plymouth focuses on a play-based curriculum that fosters love for learning. The families and children who attend cherish this school and the people who work there. The Lead Teacher creates a safe and loving environment where children are seen as individuals and learn through exploration and experiences that foster cognitive, social emotional, physical, and spiritual development.

Requirements:

· Preferred BA in Early Childhood Education or related field or AA, CDA or FCCPC from an accredited institution.

· DCF 45 hours of training completed.

· Preferred Two or more years’ experience teaching in a school.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Maintain appropriate classroom management skills.

· Continue professional development in Early Childhood Education including CPR/First aid training.
