Lead Preschool and Toddler Teacher

Perpetual Motion Preschool is a growing early childhood center seeking dedicated Preschool and Toddler Teachers to join our team. We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting young children’s learning, creativity, and social-emotional development in a warm, structured, and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement a daily schedule with developmentally appropriate activities
• Provide nurturing care and support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive needs
• Use a variety of teaching strategies (art, literacy, STEM, sensory play, indoor/outdoor activities) to encourage curiosity and learning
• Observe and document developmental progress and communicate updates to families
• Maintain a safe, clean classroom environment while following DHS licensing standards
• Collaborate with coworkers and contribute to a positive team culture

Requirements

• Previous childcare or teaching experience is helpful but not required
• Working knowledge of child development and willingness to complete required training hours
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for children
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Reliability and punctuality are essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
