Lead Preschool Teacher

We are an established private preschool with 50+ years experience in the neighborhood. Currently, our school is seeking to hire an energetic and creative lead teacher with a passion to open young minds and foster a love of learning. 8-hour work day Monday-Friday with one-hour break.

RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)

• Maintain a well-organized, safe, and clean learning environment conducive to the optimal growth and development of children.
• Observe and record each child’s progress and development through documentation.
• Prepare and implement curriculum and developmentally-appropriate activities in accordance with school policies and procedures, guided by regulations set forth by the DOE.
• Collaborate and provide guidance to all classroom staff and volunteers.
• Instill positive behavior and prosocial development.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and decor.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES

• Able to lift or carry cots, materials, and children.
• Able to squat, kneel, sit on floor with children.

REQUIREMENTS

+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education

+ Experience working with young children 0-5 years old.

+ Fingerprinted with the DOE

Pay: From $61,000.00 per year
