Lead Preschool Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team at a nurturing private preschool environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience for young children. This role involves engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum development, and providing care while ensuring the educational needs of each child are met.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Educate children on foundational skills through play-based learning activities and structured lessons.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational practices.
• Provide early intervention strategies for children who may require additional support in their learning journey.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and attendance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting is essential.
• Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and toddler care.
• Knowledge of early intervention techniques and standardized testing procedures is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and children.
• A genuine passion for educating young learners and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.20 - $21.00 per hour
