We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Preschool Teacher will implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education principles while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Needed for afternoon hours
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive reinforcement strategies.
- Provide individualized attention to students, catering to their unique learning needs.
- Engage children in physical education activities that promote health and wellness.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom setting.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Document student progress through assessments and observations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques within the classroom.
- Ability to educate children in foundational subjects such as Math through engaging activities.
- Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support to students is a plus.
- Knowledge of toddler care practices and developmental milestones.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with young children.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
