We are looking for an experienced full-time Lead Preschool teacher for our 2 year old classroom, Mondays-Fridays from 8am until 4pm. This position would start as soon as possible, but definitely by the new year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children 2-3 years old.
  • Manage classroom activities to create a safe and nurturing environment for learning.
  • Foster effective communication with parents regarding children's progress and behavior.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive interactions among students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and address diverse learning needs.
  • Observe and assess student development, providing feedback and support as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher with a focus on classroom management
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with children and parents
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and early childhood learning strategies
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques and child development principles
