Job Overview

Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education.
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and social interaction among 3-year-olds.
- Manage classroom routines effectively to support behavior management strategies and foster positive behavior in young children.
- Collaborate with families by communicating progress, developmental milestones, and behavioral observations to support early intervention when needed.
- Incorporate specialized techniques such as special education strategies and early intervention practices to meet diverse learning needs.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and aides, promoting teamwork and professional growth within the classroom setting.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly 3-year-olds, with a strong background in childhood development and toddler care.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and teaching physical education.
- Knowledge of early childhood education standards.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively.
- Ability to implement behavior management techniques that foster positive social-emotional growth.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and literacy education strategies suitable for preschoolers.
- Prior experience in daycare settings or private schools is highly desirable; certification in early childhood education is preferred.
