Joyful Journeys Montessori is looking for a passionate, nurturing, and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our growing team. We are a small Montessori school that values community, respect, independence, and a love for learning.

The ideal candidate is a strong classroom leader who can create a positive learning environment, guide children's behavior with kindness and consistency, and support children's academic and social-emotional development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a preschool classroom (ages 3–6 years)
• Implement Montessori-inspired lessons and activities
• Teach early reading, writing, language, and math skills
• Lead circle time, group activities, and outdoor play
• Foster independence, confidence, and a love of learning
• Guide behavior using positive discipline and redirection
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with the school leadership team

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Experience working with preschool-age children
• Montessori experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and leadership skills
• Positive, patient, and professional attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with families and staff
• Reliable, organized, and passionate about early childhood education
