Lead Process / Workflow Developer
- The Business Process / Workflow developer will report to the project manager and deliver automation processes and workflows as described by the customer requirements.
- The process developer will work within a Business Process Management (BPM) team to scope, plan and implement business process improvement projects focused on ensuring compliance, while also improving effectiveness and efficiency, in support of the customer business goals.
Responsibilities
- Process Development Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in IBM BAW and using IBM BAW Process designer to model and build business processes
- An understanding and experience of working in agile development model.
- A strong understanding of IBM BAW Architecture and concepts such as process center, process server, process applications, toolkits, tracks etc.
- A strong understanding of BPMN standard notifications and concepts.
- Strong understanding of all the required artifacts and concepts of IBM BAW process designer and strong hands-on experience on them
- Hands on experience, particularly on following:
- Process development and concepts such as decision gateways, joins, splits etc.
- Exception handling.
- Environment variables and Exposed process variables.
- Integration services for integration with Database, web services, REST services, java, ECM systems like FileNet etc.
- Deployment and production support.
- Preferred but not essential:
- Overall understanding of IBM Cloud Pak for Automation offering
- Knowledge of JavaScript libraries like Dojo and JQuery etc.
- Understanding of Containers and RedHat OpenShift
- Understanding IBM BAI (Business Automation Insights) and how it integrates with IBM BAW
- Experience in process application deployments
- Advance knowledge on events and gateways
- Should have knowledge on ODM and integration with BPM
- Should be expert in exception handling at process and service level.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IBM BPM/BAW development
- Experience of developing complex processes as part of an End-to-End solution
- Experience on developing & consuming REST APIs
- Experience of customizing User Interface built using IBM BAW Process Designer, including the enriching of the UI with custom HLM
- Experience of customizing and building Process dashboards
- Capable of creating Process models in IBM Blueworks live and to use them for development in IBM BAW
- Understand Content Management concepts and how to create process controls to connect with IBM Content capabilities as part of Process development
- An understanding of the wider IBM Cloud Pak strategy and how processes fit in
