Project Engineering & Execution
- Lead end-to-end engineering activities for valve, instrumentation, and control packages.
- Review project specifications, datasheets, P&IDs, ITPs, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables meet contract requirements, standards, and deadlines.
- Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements & project documentation.
Valve & Instrumentation Expertise
- Provide technical selection, sizing, and specification of:
- Shutdown valves (SDVs)
- Control valves
- Ball, Gate, Globe, Check valves
- Actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic, electric)
- Instrumentation devices (transmitters, sensors, switches, positioners)
- Conduct valve sizing calculations, CV selection, torque calculations, actuator selection.
- Review vendor drawings, GA drawings, BOMs, and FAT procedures.
Project Coordination
- Serve as the primary technical interface with clients, consultants, EPCs, and OEM vendors.
- Coordinate with procurement, QA/QC, fabrication, and logistics teams for smooth execution.
- Support project manager on scheduling, planning, risk mitigation, and reporting.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to API, ASME, IEC, ISO, ADNOC, Aramco, and other industry standards.
- Participate in inspections and FATs at vendor facilities.
- Ensure proper documentation for MDR, QCP, ITP, and other compliance requirements.
Team Leadership & Support
- Guide junior engineers and technical staff.
- Review and approve engineering calculations and drawings.
- Provide technical training/support to internal teams and clients when needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Control Engineering.
- 3–7 years experience in Oil & Gas (mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with valves, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Strong understanding of EPC project execution, commissioning, and engineering workflows.
- Familiar with API 6D, API 598, API 607, ASME, ISA, IEC, and related standards.
- Experience with ADNOC projects is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
