Project Engineering & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end engineering activities for valve, instrumentation, and control packages.
  • Review project specifications, datasheets, P&IDs, ITPs, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure all engineering deliverables meet contract requirements, standards, and deadlines.
  • Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements & project documentation.

Valve & Instrumentation Expertise

  • Provide technical selection, sizing, and specification of:
  • Shutdown valves (SDVs)
  • Control valves
  • Ball, Gate, Globe, Check valves
  • Actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic, electric)
  • Instrumentation devices (transmitters, sensors, switches, positioners)
  • Conduct valve sizing calculations, CV selection, torque calculations, actuator selection.
  • Review vendor drawings, GA drawings, BOMs, and FAT procedures.

Project Coordination

  • Serve as the primary technical interface with clients, consultants, EPCs, and OEM vendors.
  • Coordinate with procurement, QA/QC, fabrication, and logistics teams for smooth execution.
  • Support project manager on scheduling, planning, risk mitigation, and reporting.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to API, ASME, IEC, ISO, ADNOC, Aramco, and other industry standards.
  • Participate in inspections and FATs at vendor facilities.
  • Ensure proper documentation for MDR, QCP, ITP, and other compliance requirements.

Team Leadership & Support

  • Guide junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Review and approve engineering calculations and drawings.
  • Provide technical training/support to internal teams and clients when needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Control Engineering.
  • 3–7 years experience in Oil & Gas (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with valves, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Strong understanding of EPC project execution, commissioning, and engineering workflows.
  • Familiar with API 6D, API 598, API 607, ASME, ISA, IEC, and related standards.
  • Experience with ADNOC projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and client-handling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
