Lead QA/QC - QA/QC Manager - oil and gas

Key Responsibilities:•

Lead and manage the IMS in compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.• Develop and execute project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

• Oversee QA/QC activities for structural fabrication, welding, piping, and blasting/painting projects.• Conduct and supervise inspections for welding (ASME, AWS), NDT (UT, MT, PT, RT), and coatings (BGAS, NACE).

• Ensure compliance with project requirements, international standards, and client specifications.

• Supervise and train QA/QC inspectors to ensure efficient and accurate performance.

• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and oversee corrective/preventive actions.

• Maintain and manage quality documentation, including inspection records, test results, and reports.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 10–15 years of experience in QA/QC, with 2–5 years in a lead or managerial role (Qatar/Gulf experience is mandatory).

• oil and gas exp mandatory

Certifications (All Mandatory):

• BGAS Grade 2 or NACE CIP Level 2.

• CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS CWI.• ASNT Level II in NDT (UT, MT, PT, RT).

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.

•Strong knowledge of international standards (ISO, ASME, AWS, SSPC, API).

• Expertise in structural fabrication, piping, welding, and blasting/painting.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: QAR1.00 - QAR2.00 per month
