Lead Qualified Daycare Teacher

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts.
  • Provide attentive infant care, toddler care, and preschool education, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with compassion.
  • Manage classroom environments effectively through classroom management techniques that encourage positive behavior and engagement.
  • Ensure safety by applying first aid when necessary, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to health protocols.
  • Support children with special education needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive care.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, developmental progress, and behavioral observations to support ongoing learning.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
  • Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications is encouraged.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
  • Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and nurturing caregiving abilities.
  • Ability to engage children through creative play, educational activities, and positive reinforcement strategies.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
