Make care safer and improve patient outcomes across an eight-state region while enjoying work-life balance and professional growth. As a Quality Improvement Consultant (QIC) Lead, you will be part of the national QIN-QIO Program, which sets the pace for performance excellence.
This is an ideal position for professionals who want to stay in touch with health care delivery while developing or strengthening leadership skills. You will lead a team of setting-specific QICs who deliver improvement consultation and coaching services to or outpatient clinical practices across a wide range of clinical and operational topics. QIC Leads also deliver services to providers, but at a reduced level of effort to accommodate their supervisory duties.
In a typical day, you might find yourself holding coaching calls with some of your assigned providers while guiding team members who have questions about data interpretation or the best way to help a provider with barriers to improvement. As your team’s expert on HQI’s technical assistance processes, you also will help members who need clarity about provider assessment, root cause analysis, action planning, intervention selection and proper documentation in Customer Relationship Management systems.
You will learn from and be supported by the Technical Assistance Director, who will count on you to keep your team’s providers engaged and to identify opportunities and concerns specific to their progress. Subject matter experts and dedicated analytics and communications teams will further enrich your experience in HQI’s friendly, open and collaborative work environment.
The candidate should live in Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, or Georgia.
