Job Description: Team Lead – React (Web Applications)

Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced Team Lead – React to oversee a cross-functional team for a MENA Geo-intelligence platform.

Location: Dubai, UAE (in-office or hybrid, preferably if you are already in the UAE)

Key Responsibilities

· Lead a team of React developers (mainly outsourced/out staffed), ensuring delivery on time and quality.

· Decompose project requirements into tasks, assign and track execution.

· Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain high code quality.

· Troubleshoot, propose and implement workarounds when technical issues arise.

· Collaborate closely with PM and stakeholders to align development with project scope.

· Direct communication and management of external development teams.

· Ensure integration of React-based front-end with geospatial/geo-analytics services.

Key Requirements

· 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with strong expertise in React.

· Proven experience as a Team Lead managing 10+ developers.

· Upper-intermediate English (comfortable for daily work with distributed teams), ), Russian is an advantage.

· Solid knowledge of modern JS ecosystem (ES6+, TypeScript, Redux or similar state management, testing frameworks).

· Experience in systems similar to: geospatial services, navigation, geo-analytics, Smart City products are a decisive advantage.

· Familiarity with integration to REST/GraphQL APIs, mapping libraries (Mapbox, Leaflet, OpenLayers) preferred.

· Hands-on experience with Agile practices, Jira, Git.

Nice to Have:

· Experience in hiring, mentoring, and motivating development teams.

· Knowledge of DevOps basics (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, cloud hosting).

· Prior experience working in GCC or on government-scale digital projects.
