Lead Residential SERVICE Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and possess the mechanical knowledge necessary to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioning units.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure work meets company standards and local code compliance.
• Lead and mentor service technicians, offering field guidance and support.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and the office team.
• Assist in training new technicians and apprentices.
• Uphold safety protocols and company policies.
• Identify additional service opportunities and make recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems. HVAC & Refrigeration Technicians: HVAC Field: 5 years (Required)
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems repair.
• Familiarity with design principles for HVAC installations.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
• Experience in property maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Certification in HVAC/R
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
