Lead, Retail Cabinetry Design, Wayfair Branded Stores

Overview:

At Wayfair, we believe a home should be as functional as it is beautiful and that starts with great design. As a Retail Cabinetry Design Lead, you will play a critical role in growing one of our most exciting and high-impact categories across our expanding fleet of Wayfair stores. You will blend design expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking to elevate the custom cabinetry experience for both customers and designers.

This role focuses on two key areas: supporting new store openings through cabinetry presentation, vignette build-out, and designer onboarding, and coaching our in-store cabinetry designers to drive performance, confidence, and consistency. You will partner closely with store leadership, merchandising, and cross-functional teams to shape the future of Wayfair’s retail cabinetry business while continuing to manage your own design projects in your home store.

If you are passionate about coaching, love the technical and creative side of cabinetry, and enjoy building scalable programs that help teams and customers succeed, this is your opportunity to lead, influence, and grow with Wayfair.

  • Train and Onboard New Talent: Support new store openings and new hires by leading structured training, mentorship, and onboarding programs so designers ramp quickly and operate with confidence.
